Assembler production progress animation does not show

Hello. The animation that shows an item in the assemblers is building does not work. The item picture is not animating and the item just builds without feedback and then the item is removed, or the number of items remaining is updated .
By animation i mean the overlay on the icons that increase the brightness from left to right depending on the percentage of the task completed. i.e. 50% done means half of the icon is colored with a light colour.
