Basic assembler and refinery not working

So, my basic refinery isn't working even with three solar panels that can power my basic assembler (I keep only one of them on at a time) and I don't know why. When I put something to craft in my assembler, it crafts it to 99% and then lose all progress, so I can't craft anything with it.
I am VERY new to the game. Also, If someone could tell me how to switch between the small grid size and the larde one I would be thankfull.
Nevermind, just needed more solar pannels.
