The cursor behaviour when you enter numbers by ctrl-clicking on an input field adds the numbers at the back, instead of replacing the selected text, which makes it very cumbersome to edit values.

Can you give me an example, which input filed was that? What did you try to change? What value?

In my case I tried to edit antenna range.

I see this sometime too. For instance, setting sensor range with ctrl-click will not have the value selected when the dialog opens, resulting any digit to be appended to the end and not replacing it.
