Solved

Intro is unskippable until it has played roughly halfway through.

The beginning title acts as a "Loading screen" I've found. Sometimes I can't skip till about 2/3 the way through but then if I close the game and open it again, I can almost skip it straight away. Must act like a loading screen and its only like 8 seconds long, Nothing too major :)

This option needs more love, I finally have control over that stupid video! It's great not having my ears blown, cause it doesn't seem to obey the ingame sound volume settings.
