Can't send direct messages to players whose name contains weird characters
Solved
People may be using different alphabets and other unicode characters in their name. Unless they are in your faction/are nearby, they are not displayed in Comms tab thus messaging them is impossible.
Add a way to send messages to players from the player list or something else.
I have the same bug
P.S. It's actually possible to copy anyone's name from their Steam profile, paste it in chat and send the message.
But there should be a better way!
