Hi, i have sugestion to you due to this economy update, can you add map of relationship between fractions, so people know when they take contracts from some exact fraction , they know with what fractions reputation will be increased, and with what fractions relationship will be decreased.

We would like to add this, but so far didn't come up any "good enough" solution how to show this map in UI. Imagine that you have 100 factions (if we count only NPC ones on max). That map would be crazy in UI.

So if we find some good way how to show this info, we will do it.

First of all i mean exactly NPC fractions, because it has limited number of this fractions. Player fractions map is insane but really great idea, and you're right this map will be really sooo big))

Also thx for information))

If each Faction had two text lists, Friends with .... and Enemies with ... that would do the same job as a visual map.

maybe a 2d generated map? (based on coords of specific blocks, planets and moons etc)

@CypoBblu_TIoJlkoBHuk, FilipD is saying that admins can set 100 NPC factions if they wanted, and the map would still have to work with these very big numbers.

Also:

Factions ≠ Fractions

They are similar, but have slightly different meanings.

I have a feeling the relationships are probably very simple, deep down. If you work with one Ship-Seller type faction, you will lose reputation with all other Ship-Selling factions, and your rep with factions that do not sell ships will be unaffected. I could be wrong though, since I only played in the open beta a few days and didn't have enough time to explore the mechanics of it.

I suggest we learn from the Galaxy Survival of Empire's hegemony

@catch22, i need to say that right now you are wrong, because Increasing reputation with faction that selling ships for example, decrease reputation with random factions, and there is not only ship selling, there is also miners, trading and other factions.Maybe in this Test something will be changed.

Look at how Medieval Total War 2 solved this exact problem (Many nations each having relationship with each other)
