Character settings resets after turning off ps4 after playing a different game

Update on my previous bug. With extended testing.

I figured out the trigger for the bug, no it isn't solved. It's only when I reproduced these steps:

Open Space Engineers on the PlayStation 4 -> change anything in Character editor or view new highlighted items in the toolbar in a save (to notice the bug) -> close Space Engineers after saving -> go to different game that isn't Space Engineers until after that game goes past the splashscreen (as in when the game loads or plays the opening video or whatever) -> turn off (or restart) PlayStation 4 -> wait a couple seconds -> Turn on PlayStation 4 (or wait for it to turn back on from restart) and then login -> open Space Engineers -> go to Character editor.

Now the astronaut is male and colored yellow in the character editor, tools and selected skin gets reset to default, and all de-highlighted dlc blocks get highlighted again. If I edit the character with different pieces than default then change to female, it won't let me change pieces but will allow me to select every piece, until I select male with default pieces and then swap to female.

Selected settings in Options are not affected. Noting that it takes a bit longer to load the character editor when it 'resets'. And it doesn't 'reset' when you switch between games without turning off the PlayStation 4, or close Space Engineers and open it up again without turning off the PlayStation 4.

I deleted my current saves, and redownloaded Space Engineers. It's still happening.

Hopefully there's a way to keep my character customization the same as I set it up, like the settings do.
