Skins, tools, and indicator of unseen blocks are not saved upon turning on the PlayStation

Solved

Every time I close the game and open it up after turning on the PlayStation 4 (not when I reenter a save or reopen the application without turning off my ps4), dlc blocks get rehighlighted as new and not seen yet, and skin and tools gets set to default (color doesn't reset on saves, since I last checked).

The character editor from the menu also resets to the red default male astronaut.

This has been happening for months, and I have to go through editing the character again to my preferred skin, and go through the highlighted blocks in the radial menu.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues.

Could you please tell us if all settings are reset upon a game restart, for example changing any settings in Options/Game?

Settings are not affected, I can change them without it reverting.

Going to do a test right now. It doesn't seem to happen after turning off the PlayStation right now.

I'm going to find out what happens (controlled testing) when I change settings, change skin, change tools, view highlighted blocks, and leave the PlayStation off.

Miraculously, the patch seems to have fixed it. It was an issue for months, so I am glad it's no longer an issue.

I have an unfortunate discovery. Open Space Engineers on the ps4 -> change anything in Character editor or view new highlighted items in save -> close application after saving -> go to different application that isn't Space Engineers until after that other application goes past the splashscreen -> turn off (not restart) PlayStation 4 -> wait a couple seconds -> Turn on PlayStation 4 and login -> open Space Engineers. -> go to Character editor.

Now the astronaut is male, default skin and reddish orange again.

Another glitch is being able to select every outfit option (as in the green checkmark shows up) but it doesn't change appearance or deselects the other pieces until the editor is closed. It happened when I selected the desired pieces and swapped to female.

Selected settings and so forth in Options are not affected. Also noting that it takes a bit longer to load the character editor as well when it 'resets'.

I deleted all my saves, and redownloaded the application.

The above steps doesn't trigger the bug anymore.
