I always connect a ship to my station.

But every time it is too complicated.

I'll show you a screenshot.

Inside the control panel are my ship, station, rover, rotor piston sub-grid

Find my ship only impossible

There is a way to put a name on each ship.

On every block But it 's too much trouble.

I looked up the example.I used Photoshop

I want to be tied to each grid like this.

It is now color-coded.

But it does not filter.

I am sorry that I am not fluent in English.

I wish I had my will.

so I used the picture. Please write down your thoughts.

Thank you Photoshop

I agree, grouping of blocks on the grid and indenting the name would help alot. Maybe also the same filter button as in the inventory screen "only in current grid"

Block grouping and grid grouping would make the experience less insanity inducing. Can't count the number of accidental disconnects I've had due to this.

This is a really, really good solution to a fairly annoying problem.

I'm using Tags in the name of the blocks to identify, where do they belong. Like I'm adding the ship's name to each block that belongs to that ship, like "Atmospheric Thruster 5/Ship-Mk1", where the Tag is "/Ship-Mk1"

It's pretty easy to find things this way.

I'm also using a script that I wrote, that could be ran by a Programmable Block to manage the names of all the blocks in the grid, to make the Tagging process significantly faster.

However it would be cool if we could have something like what you shown in the picture. :)
