It's highly unlikely that it will ever come out on PlayStation. Space Engineers is programmed in C# on top of the .Net framework. And a lot of the libraries it uses only run on windows (and partially Xbox because Microsoft).
Porting Space Engineers to Xbox meant rewriting some of the engine code. Porting it to PlayStation or Linux would mean rewriting almost the entire engine.
