Weather change happens too quickly

In the new frostbite scenario the weather changes every couple of minutes. I really love the atmosphere this creates. And especially the heavy fog and heavy snow make manoeuvring quite a challenge. I love it!
But the change happens a bit too sudden. Could you make it a transition of maybe 10 to 20 seconds? This would help the immersion a lot!

If it was fixed, it's broken again. The weather goes from quiet and clear to LOUD blizzard with zero transition. It's so abrupt it's startling if you're stalking a turret or avoiding a drone.
