Tethering for space suit

I would love to see a tethering system for space walks to allow me to turn jetpacks off and still make it feasible in space could make it a block that tethers to the suit or vise versa, relying on the magnet boots is impossible

Spherical gravity generators work wonders. I've used them on non-jetpack servers with a few sensors to detect players going overboard or drifting away.

but this doesnt allow 'boarding' or floating to near objects (like broken solar panels or salvage) without keeping you from falling back to the skin of the ship, or needing your jetpack. plus it doesnt keep you from getting lost in space if you drift away because your boots (or the ship) decide not to cooperate. lol.


id love to see a tether system, both for interacting with grids that dont have antennas, and i like the idea of having a 'hose' in place of a giant bottle for simple things like leaving a ship or rover for simple things outside, like repairs, where it can also possibly transport supplies. theres a 'conveyor tethers' mod being suggested, but its specifically for non-attached grids. id love to see this and that option (like selecting 'large' or 'small' grid options for conveyors) where you can build a simple 'air/ power' line that keeps you linked to your ship/ rover, OR a larger hose that transfers parts to/ from your welder/ grinder without needing to run/ fly back and forth all the time. :)
