SUGGESTION: Small Blue Control Panels: Select Option

You know that cargo containers and many other items have their own small blue control panel. Also, this small blue control panel is available as stand-alone item and can be mounted to many machines etc..

I added a rotor and mounted a small blue control panel item to it in hope now to be able to access from that panel just this rotor and nothig else, but it still shows all connected functional blocks (cargo containers, assemblers, etc.) and I have to scroll until I finally can access this particular rotor.

When an item has been selected, there should be a button that sets this selected functional block as "default" or "top of list". That would help us players to avoid having to scroll each time again and again and again...

Remember that you can rename a block (including rotors), temporarily or permanently, as needed.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. But Naming is not, what my suggestion is about.

I am suggesting, that there is a new button inside each selected machine/container in that panel, that allows the player to make this particular little blue panel displaying just that container or machine. Or at least, to display it on top of the list of attached and connected containers and machines to avoid having to scoll all the times. Highly needed!

Correct. I meant to hint that you can use the renaming to make the rotor more easily findable, certainly so as a short-term workaround or even solution.

SE's terminal already has a highly questionable design, requiring scrolling even at screen resolutions exceeding the minimum system requirements because everything has to be humongous, has to have huge spacing, and is also just slapped in a vertical list …; so, while the function itself, to automatically hide blocks except the desired one (or even ones, plural) during access through a particular terminal block of choice, would indeed be convenient, throwing yet another switch into that list is something I that would make me reconsider giving my vote in favour of this suggestion, at least for now until Keen comes up with a GUI rework that is actually pleasant to use.
