Suggestion for new SE Ingame Tool and upgradeable Suit

Good Day Keen Team.

I will try to explain what is on my mind, because english isn't my first Language.

The first what came me in mind for a new Tool that a SE can use are Binoculars.

I mean, good we can build a Cam on our Vehicle with Zoom Function, but simple Binoculars to look around and zoom on landmarks should be in every Engineers possession.

A simple one for Start, later with Analyzer Function to find clues of Ore deposits or with an Marker for Dangerous objects like Turrets.

I know this only would work on planets, so my second Thought was to give the suit an Upgrade System. For this, we build Upgrade Chips in an assembler, or a new Workstation, and use it or the medical Station, tu put them in the Suit.

One function could be a MK III Binocular Chip, another a chip that boosts the efficiency of the Thrusters or a regulator for Oxygen or Energy or that the internal Heater / Climate Control not use so much power. The thought is, to make the Suit more Efficient in different Bioms and Situation.

The third Suggestion would be different Kind of Suits. I mean, no one runs around on a Earth like planet in a Space Suit right?

So we could use and make different kind of suits for different Situations or jobs.

An Earth Suit that looks more like normal clothings without a thrusterpack but with optional Breather, the normal space suit, an armored suit for harsch situations or hostile planets...

Yes we play an Space Engineer, not a Civilian or a Soldier / Security Guard. But also a SE have to be flexible, if it comes to his or her Clothes if it comes to special Situations.

A simple Retexture not helps there, it should have a meaning.

Space Spiders don't care, what color a SE have. For them we only are nice meat in a nasty and ugly tasting package. ^^

That was it for now. Have a nice day. :-)

Yes, in NASA and ESA we call suits designed for planets "Surface Suits" They're more flexible, and tend to have more clear helmets, even having an option for just a breathing mask, instead of a full helmet.

That said, players also spend hundreds of hours creating pressurized spaces, why not have a civilian-wear option, similar to the 'Han Solo' and general rebel attire found in Star Wars.
