So I don't know if this is the right place to write this since I just joined this forum.
Here is my idea, a vertical hatch with a ladder inside it so you can have a door right where the ladder ends, that way, you can climb straight up and out through a door without having to make a super elaborate design, and it can act as an access port, there can also be a variant without a ladder and a variant with a ladder.

I'd add on a variant of the passage block with ladders, to make the door merge better with the rest of the ladder-vertical corridor-thing.
