Space Engineers Game Improvements/Suggestions for Vanilla

  • Airtight Hangar Doors...
  • Implementing a slider in the UI to change the speed the Airtight Hangar Doors open/close
  • New and alternative Airtight Hangar Door with a portal/glass reinforced window - Having a version with a viewing portal in line at the right height for a character to look through. This would be used when using the doors a airtight bulkheads, the player can see into the next area to see if it is damaged etc
  • Sound proof heavy armor / doors / windows - to keep the noise of those hydrogen engines away!
  • Heavy Industrial bulkhead doors - Used to keep ships secure, radiation in those reactor areas, seal sections when there is a hull breach. Could also included a locking keypad. various versions like submarine doors with a small glass viewing area or big automaded 3x2 doors like bank vault doors and rotating lights to seal in sections
  • Fire Suppression System
  • A standalone or using the conveyor system a block that acts like a fire extinguisher. Could be placed above blocks to put out any fires - like a gas system?
  • Neon Lights - Alternative version that can be turned on/off - could be used as emergency lighting etc?
  • Power utilisation block/settings - A block that allows the custom configuration/prioritisation of systems when there is insufficient power. Could be a new block or added to the existing UI for batteries, solar panels, reactors, hydrogen engines etc. Or have it to prioritise certain groups on a grid (base/ship).
  • Slider blocks - so like ceiling cranes - block that can run a slider block that can move across the ceiling of a large hangar or up and down. Could be used in conjunction with pistons/hinges & magnetic plates to act like production line cranes or hangar cranes to move vehicles up and down a hangar.
  • 1x3 combined airlock - so a prefab of 2 doors with a vent and light in the middle. Perhaps with red/green lights at each door indicating if it is in use or not - making and managing airlocks easier
  • Modular Elevators - a few have appeared on the workshop but never been that successful.
  • Shields - again a few have appeared on the workshop but a vanilla Shield would be great.
  • G Menu - Ability to create custom "G Menu" groups to put most used blocks in a "+" group to save space on the inventory bar
  • Weapons...
  • EMP Pulse weapon that can either temporarily disable a grids electrical systems or a larger weapon that can critically overload and permanently damage electrical systems (reactors/solar panels/hydrogen engines) until they are repaired.
  • Limpet Missiles target larger, slower ships and they clamp onto the side and can either detonate or have a predetermined set time and drill into the ships hull to breach it!
  • Magnetic Warheads - alternative to the standard warhead, the ability to release these and they are attracted to other ships hulls - just like seamines. - Can have a slider in the UI to predetermine the effective area to be magnetised
  • Taser/Stun Laser - Use tasers on your enemy's instead of killing them

I do like some of them but not all so I cannot upvote the post in its current state :/
