Space drilling, can no longer coast through asteroide

So, after a couple of days on offical FR #2 server, i've gathered enough materials to build my usual 5x5 or 3x3 drilling ship.

Usually park it in front of an asteroid, make sure she's not moving, disable Intertia dampners and give a little push forward to coast and eat through an asteroid while I get coffee.

But since the major overhaul update, that is no longer possible, you can never sit totally still with drills on, and the ship jerks and glances off the target...

This completely ruins the experience, instead of easy work, its incredible tedious to just stay on target.

I´d make drilling be much, much faster, but make drills jerk around a lot unless you stabilize the grid somehow, that way, you don´t have to be running the game on the background to make progress, and it´s not just slap some thrusters on a drill head as is now.

I have no problems here with my tunnel drill on official server.

the difference is just I manually override the thrusters to let them always thrust a little bit.

Can go for a coffee or two and come back, and it's through, just be careful not flying out to fast and into another one ;D

Have you tried turning off tool shake in advanced options?
