Solid Fuel Engines

A lot of player made missiles are restricted by either using power hungry engines or having some system of conveying hydrogen into their tanks before launch.

A balanced solution that would dramatically simplify player built weapons could be a solid fuel engine which would basically be an engine with the fuel built in possibly just as explosives. Once triggered the engine fires at full power until it consumes all it's fuel which removes the fuel components from the engine/fuel blocks. Once all the fuel is consumed the fuel components would have to be re-welded into the block to use the engine again, or even would have to be ground away and completely rebuilt?

This would allow for player built missiles with smaller or no batteries and less frustrating fueling, but wouldn't be unbalanced for use on re-usable craft.

could be a single 1x3 or something block that is fuel and engine as one or a fuel block and an engine block which consumes all fuel blocks attached to it.

Batteries spawn with power, so perhaps the solid fuel resource would be closed off from most of the game, just stored internally in the block. It would consume this resource until it has run out, then it would have to be destroyed and rebuilt. Hmm. Power cells can't be taken from objects, I wonder if something similar could be done for explosives.

depending on how power works between grids ingame, this feature could be a battery with a thruster on one end coded to only power itself, coding wise.
