smaller small ship passenger seat

the small ship passenger seat is incredibly huge whenever i try to make a dropship i have to either make is super long or make it so only 3 people can sit in it. the massive size of it is just unnecessary and hard to work with. now i under stand it is supposed to be realistic and people would need arm and leg room but on a bus do you see a foot gap between each bench?.so if we could have smaller seats that would be great thank you
