Small Grids Pasted Into Voxels
In update 01.142 (DEV / June 30, 2016), the revised building system added the ability to paste Small Grids into Voxels and have them become static. This was announced as a Feature.
In update 01.186.2 (Feb 15, 2018), this feature was suddenly removed under the log category of Fixes.
This feature was very useful for players that wanted to add extra details to their worlds that wouldn't be possible (or would be unstable) with large blocks. Currently, we can still force small grids to become static via mod scripts, and it does not seem to have any negative impact on the game performance.
Can this please be revisited? Why was it removed in the first place? Can it be re-enabled, and if not - why?
