Reinstate Conveyer Functions to DLC Blocks

Please give the DLC blocks a pass to ensure they've got clear and obvious conveyers when they're capable of conveyance. The bed should have a conveyer since it apparently acts like a cryo chamber. The Locker is a -fantastic- airtight block that also happens to have a conveyer ability, allowing us to access inventory through a conveyer junction. The Armory has been a great way for my fleet to throw all the tools and weapons into a particular room. As of the update some of these functions seem to have been nerfed or 'fixed' or something. These abilities ascend these blocks from simple décor to truly useful, essential pieces of my ships, and I would hate to see these functions passed over or removed from the game if they're unintended.

My favorite part about this DLC was this bug that they "fixed". Frankly, the added feature does not effect game balance in any way other than improve it, and saved me a lot of time in terms of ""busywork". As it stands, the change is now going to force me to manually stock each locker by hand instead of the drag and drop or the auto sort that was avaiable before. I hate having my time wasted for no good reason, and this change just takes away functionality, and wastes my time. It was a bad change. Fix it.

I just bought the DLC and was surprised to see they didn't have connections. With no connections that makes it a pretty expensive cockpit block since I'll literally never place the other ones.

Bed with conveyor: No.

Locker with conveyor: No.

Armoury with conveyor. No.

These are not meant to be access points for your conveyor network. It's a set of lockers. Even the armoury is just a set of lockers.

The bed doesn't need a conveyor port. It doesn't oxygenate itself.

I wholeheartedly disagree. I'm not stuffing a buncha blocks in my ship just to take up space when ever individual block is meters in size. Players should be able to go to bed and log out, login, wake up in bed. Put a conveyer on it.

The locker should allow you to access inventory, put a conveyer on it.

The Armory should be a place we can quickly throw tools and weapons into. Put a Conveyer on it. I'm not interested in meaningless busy work, I want utility -and- beauty and we -had- it until this update.

If they added ports for them it would allow us users that want them to be connected to use them as connected objects, and you people that want them to be separate can still place them and not connect them to use them the way they exist now. It's a win win.

A Locker is a Locker and is not a locker if connected to conveyor that makes it a normal Cargo container that any sorter block can sucked out any content by a sorter. why not just use a Cargo container ???

and it is nice having a littlle area that not effected by the convayor system.

Please Keen leave it as it is,,,,,

Because it's an -airtight- block that doesn't take up a Whole space that you can walk along. If you really want to not convey to a locker then don't align it to a conveyer.

It's a decorative pack, I planned on using lockers and things as decorative access to different systems in ships/bases. There is literally nothing stopping you from turning off conveyor function or just not connecting it at all. What is so hard about that.

In order to facilitate this they would have to add a physical cargo hatch to the model.

That would mean I can't use the back of these blocks as decoration now.

It's a bad unneeded idea.

This is a fair point.

Apparently they -don't- though. The models -did- convey with or without the hatch. It was a pleasant surprise.

Yes and that's why it was a bug. The game has an internal continuity. You need a cargo hatch to pass cargo between blocks.

ok a control station/panel/remote is used to access systems , Cargo are used to accress Cargo , Lockers are lockers to lock up items u want to keep for your self otherwise just use a Cargocontainer.

maybe a new Access port for what u want would be better.

Something like a slim half block cargo access hatch you can put on a network to give you an access point? That I can get behind.

I like the idea of a small hatch to access without taking up a whole block of space, though the lockers did exactly that already.
