Realistic scale of astronomical bodies and objects

Well I know there is more important things to do first and that maybe I'll get a little of hate, but, like the most of my ideas, Im going to leave it here for the future.

I guess the planets we have now are not the final ones, and that at the end we'll have many other space objects like gas giants and black holes, but please, no more planets that looks like from the novel 'The Little Prince'. Take a look to 'Star Citizen' or 'Space Engine' to see how a fully-scaled planet would look like in SE.

As I said, just an idea for the future.

What do those planets look like with player built, deformable and destructible stations on them? How deep can you mine on them? I think 'your' idea is well beyond the limitations of current mainstream technology which is why it isn't like this already.

That said, there are many modded planets to choose from in the workshop. Many are finely detailed with atmospheric effects and environmental hazards. Very well done.

Consider also that the pile of blocks with thrusters which the game is limited to would look way out of place in these environments. It would look like Cartoon Spiderman fighting Thanos in that last Avengers movie.

As for scale: You can have systems that are a Light-Hour in radius yet only play within 10-20Mm from spawn. The last thing this sandbox needs is bigger. Considering you can only travel 100m/s the smaller sized bodies make sense for many, MANY reasons.
