No joystick support, just Xbox controller support

My X-55 joystick does not work with the new controller support. The axis are all wrong, you can't use the mouse int he menus anymore without it flickering all the options and sometimes clicks on options and sometimes does not. How can this be a space flight game and not support joysticks?

As far as I know there is no HOTAS support yet. Hopefully in a future update we get HOTAS and HOSAS (dual joystick) support.

Just seen this will I was posting about paddle support for Xbox Elite 2.
I have the same issue if the Xbox elite 2 controller is plugged in. But Bluetooth works fine
