Linux.... I know you don't support it
Submitted
First of all thanks for this absolute amazing game :-) and i would buy all DLC's if i could be sure the game will run stable, i am using a patch from https://github.com/Linux74656/SpaceEngineersLinuxPatches to setup the wine prefix but still the game crashes from time to time and the sound is crackling.
Since you don't support Linux native can you please consider, if you got some spare time, and set up a testing PC with linux to run it on wine/proton.
Maybe get rid of .NET and use MONO.
Thanks for any support
Greetings
Sebastian
If games were decently supported on linux I would drop windows so fast.

I'd much rather see a move from the old .NET Frameworks to the new open-source .NET (was called Core until version 5.0) instead of one towards Mono, the non-Frameworks version of .NET is fully cross-platform, and even supports compiling proper native binaries on both Windows, Linux, and Mac.

You are right
You are right
The game runs quite decently nowadays using proton, the only big problem left is the networking, you can join any other server and it works perfectly fine even with mods, the problem is when you are hosting a game from a linux client, windows clients can connect and work perfectly, but for some reason other linux clients crash as soon as they load into your game, this also happens when using the dedicated server through proton, it would be incredible if Keen could spend a little bit of time to try and find out why this happens and contribute to Proton with their findings, the rest is all quite usable already!
