Let me customize the labels of my control/flight chair actions

When I assign rotors/timers/hangar groups etc to control chairs I don't need to see several icons of rotors/timers etc. I need to know what each slot does. I hate that I have to go to the G menu every time I am not sure if it is save to perform that particular action now or to find out what it actually does before I press the number.
Letting me change the slot labels and having it actually displayed as small text in the slot (and not just on rollover, and not just something like "Rotors On/Off") would make so much more sense!
