LCD Text Orientation

I love LCDs, they are useful in so many ways, but one unfortunate problem, is that sometimes I want a tall skinny LCD (EX: Text Panel flipped 90 degrees). But then the text is written sideways.
Proposing the ability to select Text Orientation in LCD Panels (and via scripts); 90, 180, 270 orientations are good enough.

yes, yes yes... I never use wide screens at all. but i would use loads of them if i could use it in portrait view.
(0 and 90 are all I need the others are covered with build orientation)
