its too damading for smaller PC's

hi ive tried to start my space engineers after a recent update but it bogged my computer down so much i couldn't get past loading screens on the lowest settings possible even buchuring visuals for performance granted it is a bit of a potato but i used to be able to run it just fine before i dont know if its poor optimisashon or what i just know it almost froze up my computer when i tryed to run it
it didint do this before for 2 or 3 years but the quality of play was droping every update
i hope it can get optimised to run smoother soon have a good day

I've downloaded today the latest version 1.194.080 and it is now much better than on the beta and first release version (that I think was version 1.194.050), you should check that.
I'll do more testing anyhow, you can check my topic here if you want to know the outcome of my tests:

Hardware specifications would be useful, to help determine whether or not it's a compatibility issue. In the meantime, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date if you haven't already.
