Integrate merging of pistons into base game.

Currently the only way to merge pistons so that two or more of them correctly move a single platform together is to hack the game a bit using merge blocks like shown at the end of this video:

It would make a lot of sense that if pistons are placed in the same plane and are either at zero or maximum extension, then the platform built on their extension plane should merge and they should thus act as one creating a more stable and far more pleasing construction.
It could be handy and doable since ME has such feature with hinges. Also you should add rotors into this pole - now we have to remove unmerged rotors head, place rotor head into desired grid and attach it to rotor without head. I would love to see this process simplified.

Maybe they could do a similar thing with rotors so that they could lift up heavier stuff.

Maybe it would be enough just to allow placement of Piston Head and allow attaching (and detaching) of it same way as Rotor Heads do ...

One could also use merge blocks. But I would advise against it, since connecting one subgrid with two pistons has had one of my ships declare a breakdance duel with my base... which it won... by destroying the base.
