Indicator for front and/or top of block while placing blocks

For many blocks it's important which way they are facing but there's no easy way to know the right way. Can we have a small indicator that shows the top and the front of each block while placing it if it matters? For wheel suspension it would be great for the game to point out the top side, and for thrusters it would be nice to know which way the thrust direction is.

For suspensions it would also be nice to see the "front" in case you mixed up left and right. Then there are remote control, gyroscopes and projectors who's orientation is or can become important.
