Independant HP for Player Body Parts Simulation of Broken Bones Etc

I really think we need to change player character collision damage to take into account the body part that impacts. Right now the system is pretty much either the player takes no damage from a collision or instantly dies from a collision and frankly there is no such thing as being slightly wounded due to the sheer forces involved.


I would like to consider giving body parts individual HP that way if your flying at say 100M/s and your foot clips an antenna you will simply break your foot instead of being instantly killed. A separation between critical core/head damage and non critical limb damage

Just FYI 100m/s translates into roughly 223-4 MPH so roughly the same as wiping out on a high speed sports bike painful but still potentially survivable (barely) not to mention that John Stapp's G-Force tolerance tests show many fatal crashes in SE would probably be survivable assuming proper restraints and cockpits that didn't explode when sneezed on
