Improve Optimization

Hello, during single player I frequently experience “mini-freezes” in which the game will freeze for a couple seconds. This usually happens every few minutes, but can happen more or less often. Having no grids, or a lot of grids doesn’t seem to effect the frequency. I suspected a CPU or GPU problem, but I monitored them and during a mini-freeze their usage actually went down. I have heard quite a lot of other people complain about this, especially on the subreddit for this game, this seems to be a fairly common issue.

Specs:

-Ryzen 3 quad core

-GTX 1050Ti 4 GB

-16 GB DDR4 RAM

Game saves every couple minutes, game can freez for a second or two. SSD drive improve fluence while game saves. Perhaps this is why your game seems not to perform to well?

No, it will freeze while saving, but it also freezes while it’s not saving

I play SE on laptop with HQ6700, GTX 960m 4gb, 8gb RAM and 1TB Samsung evo 850 SSD drive. Laptop has almost 3 years and hard drive about 6 slight lag appears only while autosaving but it's normal and livable. Perhaps there is something on your system that's slows down game once for a while? Game has never worked so well.

That's because of your RAM. Look at it. You will be at 95%+. Restart the game and it will be gone. There is some sort of memory leak

Are they fixing this or what? I saw somebody say they had 32 GB of RAM and the game would max their RAM out

I guess this was what was happening with me too.
