idea and why no small block jump drive

Dear Keen

battery life on the space suit is getting annoying how quickly it runs out. i have power tools by Ryobi and tey have different amp hours for battery life. i feel this is something you could give the suits so depending on what one is doing, can choose a battery pack to suit there need.

E.G. if im bilding a ship, doing lots of welding and grinding, id like to have one or 2 high amp hour batteries in backpack so dont need to keep going back to recharge. you could also design it to effect carrying capacity too. if i was going out my ship to look at something, a small power pack would do the job.

part 2: jump drives: i remember when i first played the game a few years ago i had a small block ship with a jump drive on it, it was a miner ship, i would jump from astriod to home base to gather ores quickly to help progress my big ship build. iv had to take 9 months off from space engineers to deal with life things, now im back as have the free time again, i have just found that on one of our updates you have removed small block jump drives and only leave big block ones in game. that is very annoying for me and messing up my plans. any chance you could put them back in please?

The Space Suit should see a major revisit I think, in functionality at least, partially because of the issues that you are pointing out.

About the small ship Jump Drive, as far as I remember, there was never a small ship Jump Drive in the base game, so you must have used a mod probably. I'm pretty sure that there is a mod in the Workshop that is exactly what you wish for.

I'm not sure if small ships should have a jump drive in the base game tho. Maybe they could have one, that has like very limited range, 50km or so, to make them balanced. We could argue about it. :D

Maybe high power requirement and low max charge rate on the small jump drive? You could build a "jump ring" for your driller with two jump drives, one for going somewhere and one for coming back, because they're too difficult to recharge while drilling.
