Hybrid Grids (with implementation suggestion)

With the growing prevalence of large and small grids being combined and the better collision meshes, could we move to hybrid grids.

My suggested implementation is to add a checkbox to the info panel for large grids which enables hybrid grids. With this enabled an empty small grid subgrid would be created with a fixed weld joint to the large grid. Collision checks between this subgrid and main grid would be bypassed. From that point on it should be relatively simple to place up to 25 small grid blocks in an unoccupied large grid space.

I has a similar Idea. Use only a grid smaller than small grid (1 cube of big grid is equal to 10 of This grid). The vanilla small grid cube can only be put each 2 cells of the new grid and the big grid cube, each 10 cells. So each object in game turn a object in this grid and occupy only the volume of the object in small grid. It turn possible put a small cube inside a large grid corridor.
