For refuelling vehicles.
Will connect grids electrically and allow to transfer O2/H2 if source block is conveyed on both sides.
And it should be not needed to align grids against each other, just be within some distance to put the hose.

this would be extremely useful with this new survival update. hooking up your lander to a base as emergency power would be a nice option to beelining for a connector, rotor, or turbines

Medieval Engineers have ropes. Why SE just don't have cables, hoses and ropes? I think this is an ancient question.
The only difficulty is making them physical objects I think. ME ropes are not physical objects. Their visuals don't show physical ropes. So this is much easier to implement.

Basically a ship connector which can either be used for direct contact like now *or* reeling out a hose which connects to your close connector just for transfering oxygen or hydrogen.
