Grinder/Base Zone - PVP Suggestion

The grinder tool when used against other players blocks should very heavily nerfed, even upwards of 25x the current destruction rate.


This would encourage actual strategy and makes turrets and base design actually matter. Maybe even add a base area that makes tunneling/grinding harder. The base zone should be limited to like two per player and larger one for the faction leader to use on faction HQ.


Another related idea would be disable surv/med spawns within 7km? of an enemy base. This way a fleet doesn't park right outside the turret range and have a million tries with their grinders..

I agree with nerfing grinder speed against other factions' grids. Even in single player or PVE, it would encourage taking over a grid in order to salvage it and make takeovers harder. In addition, I would make armour blocks not belonging to your faction take longer to grind than many of the other blocks. It seems silly to me that the fastest way into a ship or base is to grind through 2.5 meter armoured walls and not through the doors.
