Garbage Cleanup Rates

I and a couple other players noticed on Keen's NA #8 Server that I've been playing recently that there's been a lot of unpowered grids and that our PCU is being largely taken up by loose items and objects that we have no idea what they are. I was told that garbage cleanup occurs once a day, but I'm not entirely sure if this is true. How often does cleanup occur, and could we increase that rate if possible?

World NA#8 is a per player pcu world, that means you are able to monitor and control your own pcu usage.

While in your space suit go to K menu and info tab, on the left side of the frame you will see where to do it. I suggest naming all the grids that you know about and want to keep first so they will be properly labeled though. You can name your ships and stations in their respective K menu info tabs on the right side of the frame.

John, my PCU was racking up at around 15K and my two or three grids totaled less than 3K at the time. Something else, likely floating items or unidentified entities, was munching at my PCU and there was nothing I could do about it. Furthermore, the server constantly had issues where there was complex scenes, it suggesting to remove some grids or change trash removal settings. Some of the other players I was talking to had mentioned they had encountered multiple unpowered grids built by players they had never seen on before. Because they were on fairly often, the grids were likely fairly old, and yet had not been disposed of.

being able to adjust the time in which trash deletes would be nice. I dont think it happens at all unless it is manually done which is annoying. I like the set it and forget it type of stuff. Some will say they old deletes first, well it doesnt. Once that limit is reached its like everything after that deletes. So that said, an adjustable trash timer option would be nice so it just clears out all the trash and what ever set time.
