Basically I have been working on a really big ship and I found that the ship blocks themselves don't actually hurt my performance as much as I thought. What I found actually hurts performance is turning on the hydrogen thrusters on the thing

A couple of things I think could be contributing to this; First, i imagine the thruster effect of the crap ton that I am using hurts, . Second, I have the thrusters all connected using conveoyors and I wonder if the calculations for the thrusters and containers and generators are what hurt more. Just some insight I have pppersonally found. Sorry for typos as I cant see what I'm typing at all.

I have noticed massive lag spikes using conveyor junctions and batteries in large quantity. Basically the game pauses every time the conveyor system is altered now. Be that by adding or removing a block in the system. This was not an issue several months ago.

I have not tested out using just atmo or ion thrusters to prove whther or not the inventory system has an impact or just the thruster effect itself.

Perhaps since the survival overhaul they altered the inventory system to where it updates more often or something
