Customizable Thruster Flames

When the new Sci Fi Thrusters with their unique thruster flames were released the first thing I did was mod them onto the original thrusters, and that got me thinking: It would be a really cool idea if we could have a bunch of different styles and colours of flames and be able to swap between them like armor skins.
They could be obtained via DLC or as an in-game reward. Imagine a scenario where you have to salvage a top secret research center, and the reward for completing it is a new thruster flame.

This would be a nice way to add spice to ship designs. Sometimes I hide thrusters because I don't want to see the flame or it clashes with the ships color. It'd open up more options to use thrusters as decorative architectural elements too.
