Cockpit Vs. Control Seat & Window balancing

I was watching the new winter update video with the utmost glee when i saw that you guys had added small ship windows. Hurrying to construct my own small ship with small ship windows i quickly challenged by friends to a dogfight and found out that the Control seat Protected by Windows (specifically 1x1 window flat) cannot compare to the Original Cockpit block.

Confused, I later set up a testing area to test the durability of a cockpit block vs a control seat protected by window 1x1 flat.

Here's What i found out when i shot them with the small ship gatling gun:

Cockpit:

1 shot) 95% cockpit Health

2 shots) 90% cockpit health

3 shots) 85% cockpit health

4 shots) 81%? cockpit health

and so on so forth, until it was no longer usable at 16 shots.

Control Seat Protected by window 1x1 flat:

1 shot) glass destroyed

2 shots) 84% control seat health

3 shots) 68% control seat health

4 shots) 53% control seat no longer usable.

So for the trade off of being slightly more expensive the Cockpit is over 3 times tougher, it also can provide the player with oxygen and takes the same amount of space. Why should it be so? The cockpit block's model is just a seat surrounded by bulletproof glass. The Control seat, when surrounded by bulletproof glass should perform similarly right?

My point: The control seat is very weak when compared to a cockpit block. It will likely be skipped over during survival or creative builds in favor of the tougher cockpit block. This is incredibly sad because you've setup a great system for players to make their own "cockpits" by using control seats and small ship glass. Space engineers is a fantastic game to express one's creativity, their engineering skill, and then put it to the test against other players, and its just disappointing to see such a wonderful combination (control seat and glass) that could pave the way for so much more creativity to be stopped by something so trivial.

So my solution: Make Either small ship bullet proof glass tougher, or make Control Seats tougher. It doesn't need to be as tough as the cockpit block, but strong enough to at least be comparable.

Here's a screenshot of my testing setup so it might be used to clarify what i'm talking about.

I think the control seat isn't supposed to be durable or anything. It's mostly for flavor, and the same goes for small window blocks. No one actually uses them in fighters, just like people don't use window blocks in serious warships.
