Batteries charge other batteries

Batteries charge other batteries and waste energy. Could it be possible that batteries in the auto mode do not draw energy from other batteries?

I would suggest that recharging Batteries never draw power from other Batteries, exept if the latter is set on Discharge. This way Engineers still can charge docked ships, but having an early survival ship with multiple Batteries and solar panels won't waste precious energy anymore.

Another solution might be do prohibit Batteries from drawing power from Batteries from the same grid, though that runs into problems with merge block based connection solutions.

Sometimes I want my batteries to charge other batteries. I have some ships that use merge blocks to dock with my base to recharge.

To my knowledge, the intended behavior is that all batteries that are set to auto will charge up others with lower power in order to "even out" all the stored power. This makes sense in order to maintain the highest power output of the grid at all times. Fluctuating power output can be a big problem if the grid is flying.
