Add the option to turn off connector control in cockpits to avoid disconnecting other ships

For things like mobile bases that have ships and other things connected to it by connectors, the only way to turn off handbrake is by pressing p or assigning the key in your toolbar. What I'm requesting is that we have the ability to turn off connector control in cockpits similar to how you can turn off thruster control or other things in the terminal.

That way for large mobile bases you could press p to unlock the handbrake without having everything else disconnect from you or vice versa.

Currently only solution is subgridding connectors, suggested option should be implemented into game ages ago.

Not good enough for me. Ships may have a trade connector for NPC stations and another connector for their docked small ship. I'd prefer if instead the connectors had this option to react upon pressing P.

I think I like it more if there was a option on the connector to turn off it from reaktion to pressing P.

If I have a mobile base I might have 1 or 2 main connector that I use to connect to other stations and a several of connectors that act like host for small grid ships to land on that I don't want to disconnect when I press P.

I think the best solution would be to add an option to a connector "Ignore parking", which would ignore pressing p. This way you could select individual connectors to not disconnect and still be able to press P for connectors, which don't have this setting.

I agree that some form of this should be implemented. The "P" button has been around since the days of yore. Well before Wheels, even before Landing Gear if i recall. The game has changed so much since then, but it was never adjusted or revisited to change with the times.

Personally, i thought that once the ability to add things to your toolbar and change their settings there was implemented, the fact that connectors and landing gear both talked to the "P" key was annoying.

Option to disable "P" on Landing Gears, Connectors and Cockpits (to not even be able sending the command).

I have about 6900h in the Game and i don't understand why this is still a thing.

Any advanced Builder i know has in the past reloaded the game just because he just trash he's creation by pressing “P” again and unlocked he's escape-pods, ships in the hangar or any other attached grid.

please fix this, regardless of the number of votes!
