Add "Mode for epileptics"
Submitted
Hello. I suffer from epilepsy. I don't like looking at sparks/flashes from personal instruments. Could you add to the game "Mode for epileptics" which would disable sparks/flashes from personal tools.
Well, or if it already is, then tell me how to disable.
Thanks.
That would take realism out of the game. Probably shouldn't be playimg games at all if you have epilepsy

If it was easy enough for them to allow a player to turn off that aspect then why not? It would leave the choice up to the user to turn off or on. Simple and no need to make someone feel bad, overlooked, or feign concern in support of not supporting a feature request that would allow someone to enjoy the game more.

Joseph Thompson, dude, he's not asking for them to remove those things from the game, he's asking for an option because of a serious problem he has. Your comment is like telling someone on a wheelchair to never leave home because "why would they? they can't walk anyway".
In addition to that I know a lot of people who often complains about some effects being too bright. I see nothing wrong in adding a simple boolean condition to every effect, shouldn't be that hard to make. Specially in nowadays object oriented programming, where all effects are probably within the same class.
So, if something that simple can definitely be done to make the game better for people with such issues, why not do it?
