Action groups

One challenge I have had is trying to get different types of blocks to trigger on the same sensor. It would be nice if one could create a group of actions, similar to creating a group of objects. In example, I would like to open one set of hangar doors at the same time as I close another. I can make two groups- one for each door set- but then I need two sensors with overlapping areas to trigger each action at the same time.

Have you tried using timer blocks? Sounds like this would be exactly the block to solve your problem.

Timer blocks are an option, but I think that an action group would be cleaner. As an example- say I want to trigger one set of actions on entry to a sensor and a different on exit from. This takes two timer blocks and a sensor, and the timer blocks have a minimum delay. My suggestion would only need the sensor and have no delay. Timer blocks have value, but generalizing the list of actions would make it more flexible and useful.

I feel that being able to group actions like we can blocks would be more utilitarian, but the timer block does fill this role perfectly. Although I'm sad that I have to give up a block space to do this...
