Large Hydrogen thrusters no longer conveyor properly

Idk which version this is, someone's gonna have to help me out with that.
So I loaded in an old world, and hydrogen thrusters were working fine. When I made a new post-economy update world, the hydrogen thrusters would do this:
interestingly enough, even though the large thruster won't turn on, it still uses hydrogen. The tank went down from 2 ticks to 1 tick before I attached the small thruster.
conveyored via side port, but won't turn on. Yes- the block is on, it's using conveyor system, it even has thrust override on, and the world is vanilla. No DLC is installed.
