Multi Grid Thruster Physics Bug
There appears to be a bug where the mass effects thrusters different amounts depending on if its in the same grid as the thrusters or a seperate grid connected to the thrusters.
In the attached image I have to identical thruster test rigs that should be able to lift off the ground (And promptly fall over lol).
But
If you place the mass "X" in the seperate grid cargo container the ship cannot take off.
And
If you place the same mass "X" in the cockpit the ship CAN take off.
From a gameplay perspective this gives the impression that mass can apply different forces on the thruster just by being placed on a separate grid.
The Center of Gravity of the two grids are aligned and there is only 1 thruster trying to lift everything upwards.
The test was conducted at sea level for max thrust output potential.
this appears to not be a desired gameplay behavior as it diverges from expected physics behavior
I would love to hear any all thoughts on this
Thanks for your time.
