Draining Ore from New Platform Connector Block not working

The platform blocks that have recently been added to the game, I think they could be useful, but the connector variant in my experience has an issue. The issue being that the inventory cannot be accessed by ore refineries to pull ore from (also effects survival kits pulling stone).
Test setup in vanilla creative:
Platform Connector <-> Refinery <-> Cargo
Each connected at conveyor points and a battery to power it.
Test:
Put ore in platform connector and it stays in the platform connector.
Put ore in cargo container and refinery pulls it and processes it.
Images attached showing the setup and inventory. There is also one image testing with the survival kit and adding stone, it is easier to see the issue as survival kits will usually draw up to 400 stone into the survival kit inventory and can only take (10) from the cargo and not taking any from the platform connector.
Keep up the good work with SE2 and very much enjoying the updates trickling down to SE1 otherwise.
