Game won't start, only runs in the background

I have tried:
Reinstalling the game.
Verifying game files
Running steam as administrator
Removing all DLC's
c++ reinstall and repair
Waiting more then 10 min for the game to launch.
Clearing all files in %appdata%Roaming\SpaceEngineers
Tried putting that -skip cutscene command into the launch option in the hope that might do something
I have the same bug
