The available beds etc are very utilitarian. There are no carpet paint types nor wallpaper. This is fine for a pure function ship/station but what if the player wants to build a cosy residential suite?
- Carpet paint texture for blocks
- Wallpaper paint textures with patterns
- Wood panelled paint texture
- Freestanding cosy double bed
- Standing lamp
- Domestic wall lamp
- Domestic hanging ceiling lights with shade
- Wine rack
- Separate toilet with toilet rolls and sink. The industrial-looking suction-type one isn't necessary in gravity
- Hot tub and bathtub. Since water is not a feature in SE1 maybe more of an animation similar to The Sims.
- Rugs. Could also be fabricated from wolf pelts from dead wolves
- Reading nook
- Long table and freestanding chairs
- Disco ball though I'm aware that the projection effects might be too complicated to implement easily
- DJ Booth. Basically just the music player in function
- Water fountain (looping animation)
The life of an engineer and explorer can be stressful, sometimes they need a place to unwind.
