Respectfully "struck by Debris" Needs to be removed or set as optional Environmental Damage as is Lightening damage
Being blind and suffocating while an inferno drains my suit power and im cooked by radiation is more than Enough but manageable, But there is No defense for "struck by Debris" Its an interesting Mechanic and not unrealistic. I know being in a cockpit or Sealed room stops it but while building said room it is just costing me playtime. i have to wait for every storm to pass. which seems to be every 10 minutes. It is in my opinion detracting from the game because all i can do imersivley is sit and wait. thats not fun.
I like this feedback
If you close your visor, the frequency and the damage given by "struck by Debris" is significantly reduced. You can tank a full storm without needing to heal.

I don't think this feature really needs to be optional. however, it would be nice if the wind direction was taken into account and being behind a structure or close enough to a voxel wall that blocks that direction of wind would prevent or heavily dampen the "struck by debris" event even when still exposed to the elements.
would be cool if vehicles could be jostled by a similar event, even if it doesn't (or almost never) causes direct damage. Storms are just a hint boring when chilling in a ship of any form, having some effect on vessels would be nice. (maybe ill think up a feedback post for this later)

I completely agree. I don't use mods, but I create my own maps and scenarios for dedicated servers. And with these settings, it's impossible to create a "realistic" Solar system without mods. I would definitely welcome the option to disable damage from debris, and my Mars could be Mars again.

I think it is a good hazard, but the weather itself is a bit unbalanced. Certain weather conditions seems to be repeating too often. This is why it feels annoying. Every time you go outside to do something storm seems to start soon after. It would be better for storms to be more rare but increase debris damage. And there is no weather forecast for you to plan your trips/activities. You can see the current weather (lcd app) but it would be much more useful to also see the type of next weather and when it comes. Each weather can last longer, so, for example if you see storm coming you plan your activities accordingly, staying more inside, while if clear weather comes you can be sure that you have plenty of time to do some useful staff outside..
