Event Controller Farm Plot Progress Option
Not Enough Votes
The new update has added a fairly engaging farming mechanic, but it would be really cool if we could use event controllers or some other block to tell us when the crops are done growing! There were no new event controller parameters added pertaining to farm plots in the Apex survival update. If there were an option to detect farm plot progress as a % in the event controller I think that would be cool to combine with a broadcast controller to tell players when plots are complete!

Yes! I read somewhere that farm plots behave like "tanks" and that you should be able to set up an event controller to trigger collection when tank is "full", but i could not get that option to even show up in my event controllers.
my workaround was using a collector ready to collect one plot as soon as it was ready to harvest, and setting up an event controller to trigger piston to move collectors to other plots when it detected cargo on first collector at >.01 (pretty much anything other than empty)
although this did work in triggering the collection sequence, I've found that in Official Servers, I will often log back in and find the collector system subgrid to be gone... but that's a separate discussion.
